That's right...
I'll soon be 82, and if I could still phone,
bake, ship and bill,
I wouldn't let anyone near this business. I've sold all
over the country, all over the world, from Hollywood producers to
many gourmet stores . This little business has hummed
and for good reason. The recipe is from my Irish great-grandmother, who got
it from her grandmother. I think she must have gotten it from the
leprechauns!
One taste and you'll see why I've held on to it when I
sold off the rest of my specialty food company. This is the crown jewel,
and I thought I would be taking orders with my last breath.
But life has a way of throwing curves. I'm still kicking
-- but not enough to handle all the facets of the business. It's time to
